This gorgeous and stunning antique stickpin dates from the Edwardian era and is made of a 15ct gold terminal, set on a 9ct gold pin. The terminal is set with an incredibly colourful natural, cabochon cut, Australian opal. The opal has a flash fire pattern and throws out different colours in different lights: blue, green and pink. The opal is in an open back setting and the colours look more dramatic when it is worn against a dark background.
The stickpin measures 6.2cms length; the opal (including the gold mount) measures 1cm x 8mm
