This adorable and unique hand carved dog charm / pendant dates from around 1900 - 1920 and is made of hand carved bone. I think the dog is probably a French Bulldog or Pug? The dog has characterful carving detail and the top suspension ring tests as 9ct yellow gold.
The dog measures 2cms height and the charm / pendant weighs 1.7g
There are no hallmarks but the top suspension ring tests as 9ct yellow gold (the integral fitting is base metal).
This antique charm / pendant is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
