This lovely antique stickpin dates from around 1910 - 1920. The stickpin is made of a gold toned metal (not gold). The terminal depicts a pressed glass 3D image of the man in the moon, which has silvery, bluey-green, moonstone type reflective properties. The man in the moon is surrounded by a halo of ‘rose cut’ clear paste stones.
The stickpin measures 6.3cms length and it weighs 1.6g
The terminal measures 7mm diameter.
There are no hallmarks; the stickpin tests as base metal.
This antique stickpin is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. There are a couple of discoloured areas to the metal on the reverse of the terminal. Please see all photos.
