This beautiful antique necklace dates from the 1930s / 1940s and is set throughout with natural Bohemian pyrope garnets, in a vibrant deep red shade. The necklace is made of a hallmarked, gilded, silver.
The necklace has a length of 16.5” and it weighs 10.2g
The largest central garnet measures 1cm x 7mm and the bottom garnet cluster measures 2.4cms x 2.1cms
The reverse of the pendant is stamped ‘935’ for silver (which is a slightly higher grade of silver than Sterling silver). The silver is gilded, giving it a pale gold finish.
This antique pendant necklace is around 80 - 90 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. There are no missing garnets. The garnets are in very good condition. The chain section shows light signs of age / general wear and the clasp is in secure working order.
