Antique (1933) Sterling Silver and Enamel Fleur-de-Lys Fob / Pendant

£32.00

This antique fob or pendant is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1933. The central shield area is enamelled in red with a ‘Fleur-de-Lys’ motif.

The fob measures 3.6cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 8.6g

The reverse is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver) along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1933. There is also a maker’s mark of ‘CU’ and ‘USHER B’HAM’. The suspension ring is also stamped with the lion passant.

This antique fob or pendant is 93 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. On close inspection it can be seen that there is a shallow slither chip to the enamel in one area, but this is superficial.
