This antique adapted connector ring started off life in the Georgian or Victorian era as a split ring. However, at some point a section of the split ring detached leaving a flat section on one side. The ring has been soldered fully closed (it can no longer be used a split ring) but it is still an attractive accessory and is made of 9ct yellow solid gold. It could be used as a connection to a t-bar, for example. Please see all photos.
The ring has an internal diameter of 1.4cms and an external diameter of 1.8cms.

There are no hallmarks, but the ring has been professionally tested and is made of 9ct yellow gold.
