This stylish antique torpedo brooch dates from around 1920 and is made of hallmarked 9ct gold. The brooch has a black enamelled front which is centrally set with a seed pearl.
The brooch measures 4.2cms length and it weighs 1.6g
The reverse of the brooch bears a partial ‘9CT’ stamp (the brooch also tests as 9ct gold). The pin itself is not gold.
This antique brooch is around 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just very light signs of age / general wear. There is a tiny, superficial, slither chip in the enamel in the central area but this not at all obvious and I am only mentioning it for completeness. The enamel has a lovely, glossy finish. The pin / catch are in secure working order.
