This pretty and colourful antique brooch was either made by or inspired by Bernard Instone. The brooch is made of hallmarked Sterling silver and the front oval features a flower and leaf design enamelled in pretty pastel shades.
The brooch bar measures 5.8cms length and the oval brooch front measures 1.7cms x 1.2cms

The reverse and also the brooch bar are both stamped ‘STERLING SILVER’. There is no maker’s mark but this design is very much in the style of Bernard Instone. The pin itself is made of steel.
This antique brooch is around 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. There is some tarnishing to the pin (not visible when the brooch is worn and probably removable).
