This beautiful antique butterfly brooch dates from around 1920 - 1930 and is made of hallmarked Sterling silver by the prestigious silversmith and jeweller, John Atkins & Sons. The butterfly is enamelled in a vibrant aqua colour, which has a softly iridescent finish. The butterfly has a violet enamel thorax and each wing is accented with a ruby red enamel dot.
