This gorgeous antique dropper charm or pendant dates from the Edwardian era and is made of 14ct yellow gold. The pendant / charm is set with a natural almandine garnet in a vibrant deep crimson shade.
The garnet (excluding the gold fittings) measures 7.5mm x 6mm and the charm / pendant weighs 0.4g
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the charm and suspension ring have been professionally tested and are made of 14ct yellow gold.
This antique pendant / charm is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed; it is quite a small suspension ring and I am happy to replace it with a standard size 9ct yellow gold ring at no charge (please message me at the time of purchase if you would like me to do this).
