Antique Edwardian 15ct Gold, Pearl and Demantoid Garnet Flower Charm / Pendant
This beautiful antique charm or small pendant dates from the Edwardian era and is made of hallmarked 15ct yellow gold. The pendant is set with seven lustrous seed pearls and six tiny, bright green, demantoid garnets around the edge. The pearls naturally vary a little in shade but the difference is not as pronounced as in the photos. It’s possible that the charm was converted in antiquity from a stickpin or other jewellery item.
The charm measures 8mm diameter (excluding the suspension ring) and it weighs 0.6g
The reverse of the charm is stamped ‘15CT’ (for 15ct gold) in two places.
This antique charm is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
