This elegant and sparkly antique ring dates from around 1910 - 1920 and is made of hallmarked platinum and 18ct yellow gold. The ring front features three genuine diamonds (two ‘rose cut’ and one ‘eight cut’); the diamonds are set in platinum and the rest of the ring is made of 18ct yellow gold. A trilogy ring is said to represent the past, present and future, so this would make a lovely anniversary or commitment ring.

The ring is a UK size M / US size 6 and it weighs 1.5g

The platinum ring front measures 1cm width x 3mm maximum height

The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘18CT & PT’ for 18ct gold and platinum. There is also a serial number and a maker’s mark.

This antique ring is at least 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. By design this elegant ring is finely made and the ring band is not thick (it has further reduced in thickness through general wear). The ‘rose cut’ diamonds have intentionally irregular facets.
