








Antique Edwardian (1909) 9ct Gold Double Sided Locket Pendant
This antique locket pendant is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1909. The locket is double sided and can house a different photo on each side (the current inserts / images can be easily removed). The gold is a rich, mellow, tone and each side of the locket has a glass protective cover. The locket opens easily by unscrewing the top decorative bale, which then releases the frame and glass protective covers.
The locket measures 2.7cms diameter and it weighs 3.5g
The bottom edge of one side of the locket is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Chester in 1909. There is also a maker’s mark of ‘C&Co’.
This antique locket is 116 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The glass covers are both in very good condition, the frame is in good condition showing light general wear. The decorative bale is in very good condition with no dents or damage; it unscrews easily.
