











Antique Edwardian (1910) Sterling Silver and Amethyst Glass Thistle Pendant
This good size antique pendant is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1910. The thistle pendant has Art Nouveau styling detail and is set with dark plum coloured amethyst glass.
The pendant measures 3.5cms height (including the suspension bale) and it weighs 3.7g
The pendant is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver), along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1910. There is also a maker’s mark.
This antique pendant is 115 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The amethyst glass is in very good condition with no damage other than two very small, insignificant, fleabite sized nicks.
