This attractive and unusual antique cross pendant is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1918. The front of the cross is enamelled in turquoise.
The cross measures 2.3cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 1.1g
The reverse of the cross is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver) along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1918. There is also a maker’s mark.
This antique cross pendant is 108 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage or enamel loss and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The top silver suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
