This pretty antique pendant dates from around 1900 - 1910 and is made of hallmarked 9ct gold. The gold is a rich, mellow, yellow gold colour with some areas showing a slightly rosier tone. The pendant is set with a pretty mid purple amethyst.
The pendant measures 3.1cms height (excluding the top suspension bale) and it weighs 1.2g
The reverse of the pendant is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold.
This antique pendant is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The amethyst is in very good condition. The amethyst is secure in its claw mount; under magnification it can be seen that it’s set at a slight angle. The top suspension ring is fully closed.
