This lovely antique charm dates from the Edwardian era and is made of 9ct yellow gold. The charm is set with a paste emerald stone, which is a vibrant shade of green and reflects the light very nicely.
The emerald paste stone measures 9mm x 7mm (excluding the gold mount) and the charm weighs 0.8g.
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks; the charm and suspension ring have been professionally tested and are made of 9ct yellow gold.
This antique charm is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. Under magnification it can be seen that there is a tiny, light, fleabite sized nick to the top surface but this is not at all obvious to the naked eye. The top 9ct gold suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
