This elegant antique stickpin is made of 9ct yellow gold. The terminal is set with a cabochon cut natural opal. The opal has a good play of colour which appears more vivid / bluer when the pin is against a dark background.
The stickpin measures 5.4cms length and the opal itself measures 5mm x 4mm

The opal has a glossy surface finish with no wear; under magnification it can be seen that there is a very very small edge chip on one side which is behind / under one of the securing claws and cannot be seen with the naked eye.
