£110.00
sold out

This antique spinner pendant or watch fob is made of 9ct yellow gold and dates from around 1900 - 1910. One side of the spinner is set with a carnelian panel, the other with a bloodstone panel. The panels could be engraved and there is a fixed chain design bracket and a top suspension ring. The gold has a lovely, rich colour.

The circular panels have a diameter of 1.8cms and the spinner weighs 6.3g

The top suspension ring is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold. There are the remains of the old hallmarks on the base of the spinner, but these are now unclear through general wear; an indistinct crown can be made out. The spinner has been professionally tested and is made of 9ct yellow gold.

This antique spinner is over 100 years old. The bloodstone panel is in very good condition, the carnelian panel has a small area of scuffing (see close up photo) but is otherwise in very good condition. The gold mount is a lightly bruised in one edge area (see close up photo) but is otherwise in good condition showing just light signs of age / general wear and use. The fixed chain style bracket is in very good condition. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
