These pretty antique dropper earrings date from the Edwardian era and are made of hallmarked 9ct gold. The gold has a lovely mellow tone and is between rose gold and yellow gold in colour. Each earring is set with a lustrous freshwater pearl and a suspended natural coral ‘disc’ type drop. The earrings have hallmarked 9ct gold screw fittings.

The earrings have a total drop (from the top of the pearl to the bottom of the coral) of 2.8cms and they have a combined weight of 2.7g

The backs of the screw fittings are both stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold

These antique earrings are in good condition for their age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The coral naturally have a little colour variation within the ‘stone’. The freshwater pearls are in excellent condition and could be later replacements. On close inspection it can be seen that the base chain link on one of the earrings is a little larger and darker in colour than the corresponding link on the other earring. The screw fittings do up / undo as they should.
