This elegant and versatile antique stickpin dates from the Edwardian era and is made of 9ct yellow gold. The terminal is set with a natural coral cabochon in a pretty salmon shade.
The stickpin measures 6.5cms length and the coral cabochon measures 7.5mm x 6mm
The stickpin weighs 1.2g
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks; the stickpin has been professionally tested and is made of 9ct yellow gold.
This antique stickpin is over 100 years old. The coral cabochon is in very good condition with no chips or damage and with a nice, glossy surface finish. The pin is nice and straight. There is a small edge nick in the reverse of the gold mount and a very small area of spot discolouration. The top of the gold mount has lifted away from the coral fractionally at the top (not obvious to the naked eye) but the coral is still securely attached to the pin.
