sold out

This antique stickpin dates from around 1900 - 1910 and is made of (at least) 9ct yellow gold. The terminal is set with an oval, cabochon cut, natural moonstone which reflects the light very nicely and is surrounded by four genuine, ‘rose cut’ diamonds at the compass points. The side of the moonstone mount has a repeated engraved design.

The stickpin measures 6.3cms length and the terminal has a height of 1.3cms. The moonstone itself, excluding the mount, measures 9mm x 6mm

The stickpin weighs 2.2g

As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the stickpin has been professionally tested and is made of (at least) 9ct solid gold.

This antique stickpin is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. There is a very small edge chip to the moonstone at the bottom, but apart from this it is in very good condition. The diamonds are ‘rose cuts’ and, as such, have irregular facets / edges. The pin is nice and straight.
