Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold and Aquamarine Dropper Earrings
These pretty antique earrings date from around 1910 and are made of 9ct rose gold. Each earring has a baton section suspended from the ear hook, with a sparkly natural aquamarine suspended from the bottom. The aquamarine drops move around and catch the light very nicely when the earrings are worn.
Each earring has a drop (from the top of the ear hook to the base of the aquamarine drop) of 3.2cms. The aquamarines each measures 5mm diameter (including the gold mount)
The earrings have a combined weight of 1.0g
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the earrings have been professionally tested and are made of 9ct rose gold.
These antique earrings are over 100 years old and are in good condition for their age, showing some light signs of age / general wear. There are no chips / damage to the aquamarines. The aquamarines vary fractionally in size. On close inspection it can be seen that there is a small historic repair in the area of the join of one of the aquamarines to the baton section, but this does not stand out to the naked eye. The earrings have been priced to reflect condition.
