This sweet antique ‘puffy’ heart charm dates from around 1900 - 1910 and is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. The front of the heart features a star set genuine diamond.
The charm measures 1.2cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.8g (it’s hollow).
The reverse of the charm is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold.
This antique charm is over 100 years old. There are no dents to the front of the charm, there is a small edge dent to one side and a couple of lightly dented areas to the reverse. The diamond is a rough ‘rose cut’ and under magnification it can be seen that it has a slither chip and small edge chip to the bottom (not obvious to the naked eye). The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
