This beautiful antique heart pendant dates from the Edwardian era and is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. The heart is semi ‘puffy’ / 3D and has beautiful engraving detail on the front, as well as a star set garnet. The reverse of the pendant is plain (apart from the hallmark).
The heart measures 2.1cms height (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 1.4g
The reverse of the pendant is stamped ‘9CT’ along with a maker’s stamp. The hallmarks are a little worn (the pendant has also been professionally tested and is made of 9ct rose gold).
This antique pendant is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just very light signs of age / general wear. There is a small, very light, pinprick type dent to the side of the heart but this is not at all significant.
