Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold and Natural Sapphire Ring

£139.00
sold out

This antique five stone ring dates from around 1900 - 1910 and is made of 9ct rose gold. The ring is set with five graduated, natural, sapphires in slightly varying shades of royal blue. The top and bottom sides of the ring have pretty light engraving detail.

The ring is a UK size M and a half / between a US size 6 - 6.5

The centre of the ring front measures 4mm height.

As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the ring has been professionally tested and is made of 9ct rose gold.

This ring is over 100 years old and is in generally good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. The sapphires are in good condition; under magnification it can be seen that there is a tiny, fleabite sized, surface nick to two of the sapphires (not significant). The sapphires all appear secure but under magnification it can be seen that some are set at a slight angle. The price reflects the condition.
