Good Size Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Double Sided Glazed Locket Pendant
This antique double sided photo locket pendant is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. Each side of the locket has a circular glass cover and contains removable photos. The locket is undone by unscrewing the top bale which then opens the frame and releases the two glass covers and photos; a photo / lock of hair can then be fitted inside before securing the gold frame again by screwing up the bale.
The locket has a diameter of 3.3cms and it weighs 6.3g
The base of the locket is stamped '9CT' for 9ct gold; the hallmark is a little unclear but the locket has also been professionally tested and is made of 9ct rose gold.
This antique locket shows light signs of age / general wear in the form of a couple of small, light, shallow, dents to the frame and bale. The glass covers are in very good condition with no scratches or damage. The top suspension bale is fully closed.
