Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Pendant Necklace

£119.00

This vibrant antique pendant necklace dates from around 1910 and is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. The necklace is set with two paste stones in a sparkly and vibrant shade of green. The pendant section is in three separate suspended parts, which means that it moves nicely when worn and catches the light prettily.

The necklace is 18” in length and the pendant section measures approximately 4cms.

The mount of the bottom green stone is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold. The chain is integral to the necklace and also tests as 9ct rose gold.

The necklace weighs 3.0g

This pendant necklace is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. One of the end chain links (adjoining the clasp) appears to be a historic replacement and is not gold. The antique clasp is a slightly yellower gold than the chain itself and could be a historic replacement; it is in working order but the closure is a little loose (it can open a little rather than staying fully closed).
