Antique Edwardian Gold Plated Locket Pendant
This decorative antique locket pendant dates from the Edwardian era and is gold plated. The front features engraved foliate decoration and engraved initials which appear to read ‘EJ’ or ‘ES’. The back of the locket is plain. The locket opens to reveal two locket compartments, one of which has the original backing paper (the locket is otherwise empty).
The locket measures 3.1cms diameter and it weighs 10.8g
There are no hallmarks, the locket tests as gold plated.
This antique locket is over 120 years old and is in very good condition for its age with no dents or damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The locket opens easily and closes securely with a click. The inside of the locket is empty apart from one piece of original backing paper.
