Antique Edwardian Silver, Turquoise and Pearl Heart & Horseshoe Pendant
This lovely antique ‘puffy’ heart pendant dates from around 1900 and is made of silver. The front is pave set with cabochon cut natural turquoise, and faux seed pearls are arranged in a horseshoe design in the centre.
The pendant measures 2cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 2.1g (it’s hollow)
As is often the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the pendant tests as silver.
This pendant is around 120 - 130 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no missing stones and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The turquoise naturally vary in shade.
