This antique ring dates from around 1800 - 1820 and is made of 9ct yellow gold. The ring is centred with a cabochon cut garnet in a closed back setting. Please read the description in full and study the photos as the ring does have condition issues (hence the low price).

The ring front has a height of 11.5mm and the ring weighs 4.2g
There are no hallmarks but the ring has been professionally tested and is made of 9ct yellow gold. It’s possible that the ring head head and shoulders are pitch filled.
This antique ring is around 200 - 225 years old and shows signs of age, wear and repair. The garnet shows light general wear with no significant damage. The ring shoulders show quite significant signs of age and wear and the shank shows signs of age, wear, repair and historic re-sizing but retains a good shape. There are a few holes to the gold on the ring shoulders. The back of the ring front has a small hole. The gold shows slightly different shades / tones in different areas.
