This unique antique fob seal dates from the Victorian era. The seal is gold cased and features decorative carving detail. The base is set with rock crystal with a heraldic intaglio carving, which appears to depict a crown and fist gripping some type of serpent. This seal is still functional but would also make a unique pendant.
The seal has a height of 2.8cms and it weighs 7.7g
The base measures 1.8cms x 1.6cms

This antique seal is around 200 years old and is in generally good condition for its age, showing some signs of age / general use. There are no dents to the metal, there is some general wear to the gold casing. The base is intact and still imprints clearly, but there is very light, superficial, scratching to the surface.
