This unusual and collectable antique, hand carved /polished kidney bean charm is made of natural nephrite jade and is set with a 9ct yellow gold suspension ring. The jade naturally has attractive colour and pattern variation within the stone, which is most noticeable when the charm is held up to the light (as one of the photos illustrates).
The charm measures 1.9cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 1.1g
There are no hallmarks but the suspension ring tests as 9ct yellow gold.
This antique charm is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
