This collectable antique ribbon fob dates from the Victorian era. The fob is made of black grossgrain ribbon and the fittings are made of hallmarked rolled gold. The fob is set with a purple paste fob, a dog clip and rolled gold chain section / fittings.
The fob has a total length of 14.1cms and it weighs 12.5g. The base of the fob measures 11.5mm x 11.5mm
One of the chain links is stamped ‘ROLLED GOLD’ along with a maker’s mark.
