This antique ‘Albert’ neck chain dates from the Victorian or Edwardian era and is made of hallmarked Sterling silver. The neck chain is fitted with a central t-bar accessory and has two dog clips as a fastening. Every link of the chain is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver).
The neck chain measures 16¾” length. The t-bar measures 3.7cms and the necklace weighs 30.5g
Every chain link is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver), the dog clips bear maker’s marks and the t-bar also has some very worn hallmarks.
This antique neck chain is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. I have only lightly cleaned the chain in order to preserve the patina.
