This lovely and unusual antique double heart charm or pendant is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1875. Both hearts have (different) engraving detail on the front and the larger charm is in the form of a witch’s heart.
The larger charm measures 1.3cms height and the smaller heart measures 1cm height (excluding the suspension bales and rings).
The charm has a total combined weight of 1.8g (the hearts are hollow)
The reverse of the smaller heart is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver) along with hallmarks showing that the charm was made in Birmingham in 1875.
This double charm is 151 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age and general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
