This antique heart pendant or charm is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1888.
The heart measures 2cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 1.1g
One side of the charm is stamped with the lion passant for Sterling silver along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Chester in 1888. There is also a maker’s mark.
This antique pendant / charm is 137 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The top silver suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
