This adorable and rare antique charm is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1891. The charm is in the 3D form of a realistically styled ‘lucky’ shoe; there is lovely detail shown with the laces and shoe toe tips.
The shoe measures 2.6cms length (including the integral bale but excluding the suspension ring) and it weighs 0.8g
The sole is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver), a Birmingham stamp and a date stamp for 1891. There is also a maker’s mark.
This antique charm is 135 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. There is a small dent to each side of the heel. The suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
