








Antique Victorian (1893) Sterling Silver Anchor Pendant / Large Charm
This antique anchor pendant or large charm is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1893. The anchor is 3D and is the same design on both sides (one side bears the hallmark).
The anchor measures 2.2cms height (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.7g (it’s hollow)
The reverse of the anchor is clearly hallmarked with the lion passant (for Sterling silver), along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Chester in 1893. There is also a maker’s mark
This antique pendant is 132 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
