This rare and collectable antique charm or pendant is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1899. The charm / pendant is by the prestigious silversmith Charles Horner. The pendant / charm is set with a domed turquoise glass heart.
The charm / pendant measures 1.7cms height (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 2.0g
The reverse of the charm / pendant is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver) and also bears hallmark showing that it was made in Chester in 1899. There is a maker’s mark of ‘C.H.’ (for Charles Horner).
This charm / pendant is 127 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
