Antique Victorian / Edwardian Silver 3 Strand Albertina With Slider, Dog Clip and T-Bar

£79.00
sold out

This antique Albertina dates from the Victorian or Edwardian era and is made of solid silver (see details below). The Albertina has three strands - a ropetwist and two foxtail link - and is set with a slider which moves freely along the chains. The Albertina is set with a dog clip fastener and has an attached solid silver t-bar.

The Albertina has a length of 31.5cms and it weighs 17.6g

As is often the case with jewellery of this type there are no hallmarks, but the Albertina has been professionally tested and is made of solid silver. The silver is a continental grade of silver (800) rather than the usual Sterling silver grade (which is 925).

This antique Albertina is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. By design the ropetwist chain section is a little longer than the two foxtail link strands which allows it to sit / hang nicely when the Albertina is worn.
