This decorative, antique silver tassel pendant / charm dates from the Victorian or Edwardian era and is made of solid silver. The tassel is set with six foxtail link strands which have a nice, fluid movement.
The tassel has a height / drop of 4.2cms (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 3.6g
As is often the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the tassel has been professionally tested and is made of solid silver. This silver is a continental grade (800), rather than the usual Sterling silver (925).
This antique tassel is well over years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage or dents and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring is not soldered closed.
