This striking antique jabot pin dates from the Victorian era and is French in origin. The pin is made of a gold tone base metal. The front features faux turquoise (possibly turquoise enamel) in a lovely, vibrant shade. The two parts of the jabot pin are connected by a section of chain.
The sword measures 5.5cms and the jabot pin weighs 4.4g
The reverse bears a French control mark: ‘DEPOSE’ and a maker’s mark of ‘OG’.
