This exquisite and unique antique miniature seal dates from the early Victorian era. The seal is gold cased and has a foiled natural citrine base, which reflects the light very nicely and has been hand engraved with an intaglio carving of a rose. This seal would look great worn as a pendant or charm and I believe the base can still be used as a seal.
The seal has a height of 16mm and the base measures 11mm x 10mm

This antique seal is around 160 - 170 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just light signs of age / general use. The foiled citrine base is in lovely condition with no chips or damage. The suspension ring shows some general wear, has not been soldered closed and has not been tested for gold content.
