This antique double sided locket pendant dates from the Victorian era. The locket is made of rolled gold and is rose gold in colour. The locket has a glass cover on each side and contains original photos (which can easily be removed / replaced). The locket opens by unscrewing the top bale, which releases the frame and the glass covers.
The locket measures 2.7cms diameter and it weighs 3.9g
One side of the locket is stamped ‘ROLLED GOLD’
This locket is well over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age / general wear. There are no dents to the gold frame and the glass covers are in very good condition. The top bale shows a little tarnish (it has only been lightly cleaned). The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
