This sweet and unusual antique charm dates from the Victorian era and is made of silver. The front of the heart is set with polished bloodstone and agate inlays.
The heart measures 1.6cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring)
The charm weighs 1.2g
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks; the charm tests as silver
The front of the charm is in good condition showing light signs of age / general wear to the silver; the agate and bloodstone panel inlays are in excellent condition with a glossy surface finish. The reverse of the charm has a generally lightly uneven surface finish (see photos for detail). The top silver suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
