Antique / Vintage 9ct Gold and Seed Pearl Shell Charm
This lovely antique / vintage shell charm dates from around 1940 and is made of hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. The charm is in the 3D form of a realistically styled shell, set with a lustrous seed pearl.
The shell has a length of 1cm (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.5g (it’s hollow)
The back of the shell bears a partial ‘9CT’ stamp; it has also been professionally tested and is made of 9ct yellow gold.
This antique / vintage charm is in good condition for its age showing just light signs of age / general wear. The back of the shell has a very lightly uneven finish in the high relief area (the back of the shell is not visible when the charm is worn). The top suspension ring has been cut (where the charm was removed from a bracelet).
