Antique / Vintage Signet Seal Mould / Plate
This unusual signet seal mould / plate would have been used to make the impression on the front of a signet ring and also a wax seal. The mould depicts a winged dragon / serpent above a crown.
The actual impression area of the mould (the grey area) measures approximately 1.2cms height x 1.1cms width.
This antique / vintage mould is in good condition with no damage to the mould itself and showing just light signs of age / general wear to the surround and box (which has ‘Signet Mould’ written on it).
