Beautiful Antique Edwardian 9ct Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Ruby and Sapphire Stickpin

£135.00

This beautiful and stylish antique stickpin dates from around 1910 and is made of 9ct gold, with a platinum topping to the gemstone settings. The diagonal terminal is set with a ‘rose cut’ diamond, a sapphire and a vibrant pink ruby.

The stickpin measures 6.5cms length and it weighs 1.2g

The terminal measures 11mm length (measured on the diagonal)

As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks; the stickpin has been professionally tested and is made of solid 9ct yellow gold with a platinum topping to the gemstone mounts.

This antique stickpin is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The diamond, sapphire and ruby are all in very good condition with no chips or damage and with nice, crisp facets. The diamond is secure in its mount; under magnification (and in the enlarged photos) it can be seen that there’s a tiny gap between the side of the diamond and the mount on one side (not significant).
