These classic, good size vintage stud earrings are made of hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. Each earring is set with a mabe pearl; the pearls have nice lustre and reflect creamy pinky tones. The earrings are stud earrings, but also have a spring back action clip which fastens securely onto the back of the post when the earrings are in place. This means that the earrings sit nicely on the ear without pulling forward.
The mabe pearls have a diameter of 1.3cms (excluding the gold mount). The earring fronts have a diameter of 1.7cms (i.e. the pearls including the gold mounts)
The reverse of each earring is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with a maker’s mark.
The earrings have a combined weight of 5.4g
These vintage earrings are in very good condition, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The pearls naturally vary a little in surface finish. The spring back securing clips work as they should with just the right amount of tension.
